❓ Common Questions
Will my scheduled posts still publish after I revoke access?
No. Once you revoke Zernio’s permissions, it can no longer post to that platform. Any scheduled posts in your Zernio queue will not publish for that account.
Does revoking access delete my past posts?
No. Content that Zernio already posted to your account stays there. You’ll need to manually delete those posts if you want them removed. The exception is Facebook, which gives you the option to delete app-posted content when you revoke access.
What happens to data Zernio already collected?
Revoking access prevents Zernio from making future requests for your data, but it doesn’t automatically delete data they already have on their servers. If you want your data removed from Zernio’s systems, you should contact Zernio support directly and request deletion under privacy laws like GDPR or CCPA.
Can I reconnect Zernio later if I change my mind?
Yes! Revoking access isn’t permanent in the sense that you can always re-authorize Zernio by going through the connection process again. You’ll just need to grant permissions from scratch.
Do I need to revoke access on every platform separately?
Yes. Each platform manages permissions independently, so you’ll need to follow the steps for each social account you connected to Zernio. There’s no “revoke all” button that works across platforms.
I don't see Zernio in my connected apps list. What does that mean?
Either you never connected that platform to Zernio, or the connection was already removed. You’re good to go for that platform.
🛡️ After You Revoke
- Zernio can no longer post to your accounts
- Zernio can’t read your profile data or posts
- Scheduled posts will not publish
- You can reconnect anytime by re-authorizing
- Past posts are not automatically deleted
- Data Zernio already collected is not automatically deleted
- Your Zernio account itself is not deleted (you need to do that separately if wanted)
